BS 8214:2026 requires supporting evidence for every component in a fire door installation. FireWedge takes that seriously. Every batch is tested for density and species by an independent testing facility, with a batch-specific Certificate of Conformity issued with every order and a dedicated supply chain built exclusively for fire door installation.

Until now that level of assurance simply wasn't available, wedges sourced as a side product from timber merchants and joinery suppliers, with no dedicated supply, no density verification, no documentation and unpredictable lead times. FireWedge was built to close that gap.
